My Adventure

After graduation, I want to get job. Therefore, I must do something. I am looking for job vacancies via internet and I am making letter of application everyday. And than the letter of applications were sent by me anywhere. I hoped I could get one of jobs. Finally, Sinar Harapan daily news calls me to test in Jakarta. I am taking Editor Staff position. I am happy and grateful. I was going to Jakarta on Monday June 13th2011 and I was using train at 07.00 am. I met my friend on train. But I am forget his name. Hehe..

“Halo Ojan, how are you?” asked him.
“Hey.. I’m fine. And you?” answered me.
“Me too.” answered him.

We were sitting in the same lounge. We were talking about experiences each other.

“Sorry, I am forget about you. So, what’s your name?” I am asking with smiling.
“Hahaha.. We are talking until now, don’t you know my name yet? Are you sure, Ojan?” asked him.
“I am sorry” answered me.
“My name is Dedy. I am Deni’s friend”
“Astagfirullahaladzim.. I know only your face. Hahaha... Once again, I am sorry” answered me.
“Oke.. hahaha”.


Finally, I arrived in Jakarta at 12.30 p.m. I was getting down in Jatinegara Station and Dedi was getting down in Jakarta kota Station.

“Nice to meet you, Ded”
“Ok. Be careful, Jan”

After I met Dedi on train, I met another friend in Jatinegara Station. He is Husni.

“Hey Jan, what are you doing here?” asked him.
“Hey Hus, I will test in Sinar Harapan daily news. And what about you?”
“I will play music in Jakarta. And I always stay here” answered him.
“Wow... you are artis now.haha..”answered me.
“Hahaha.. where do you live in Jakarta?” asked him.
“I live in Condet. And you?”asked me
“Cipete raya” replied him
“Ok Hus, I must go now. See you next time”
“Ok Jan, have a nice day in Jakarta”
“You too”

I lived in Jakarta until 6 days in my aunt. I should by her to try looking for place of Sinar Harapan. I was going to office of Sinar Harapan alone and I was using elektric train. At last, I found them. Hmmm.. that was my experience. Actually, I was going to Jakarta to wait on calling by Sinar Harapan again. I am called by them last week to test. They promised to call me. So, I stayed in Jakarta. But they did not call me. Finally, I back to Tegal without good news for my parents.

I arrived in Tegal on Sunday, June 19th. I was in Tegal only 2 days and then I should go to Jogja. Because I would do test in Muamalat Bank of Indonesia. There are 1200 applicants will take Muamalat Officer Development Program (MODP) position in Muamalat Bank of Indonesia. This position is making to fresh graduate and different from others. If we could accept this program, we became assisten director candidate.

The day is waited by me is come to interview in Muamalat Bank of Indonesia. For me, Muamalat Bank of Indonesia is “impressive” to my experience interview. Because I must use English. I interviewed about Bank Muamalat Indonesia by Mr. Asepudin. He is Human Capital of Muamalat Bank of Indonesia. I was laughed by him when I answered with English. I was shy.

“Mr. Fauzan, you must exercise English. This position is assisten director candidates. So you must be able to speak English. But, thank you for your attention”
“Ok Sir, Nice to meet you”

At last, I back to Tegal without good news again for my parents. I arrived in Tegal on Wednesday, June 29th. That was my adventure 2 week ago. I hoped I could get job next time. At least, I showed my effort. The God know only.

After I written, I want to sleep.
