Jamal

Nama saya Fauzan Jamaludin. Kawan-kawan saya biasa memanggilku Fauzan. Tetapi kali ini tidak biasanya. Setelah masuk di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), banyak yang memanggilku dengan nama Jamal. Panas rasanya kuping ini ketika ada seseorang yang memanggilku dengan nama Jamal.

“Jamal, mau kemana?”, teriak salah satu temanku.

Saya hanya lemparkan senyum kecut dan ngluyur pergi. Shit! Bagi saya, panggilan Jamal itu terasa orang kampung banget dan jadul sekali. Selama enam tahun duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar (SD) baru kali ini berani-beraninya mereka panggil namaku Jamal. Mbok ya panggil Fauzan atau Ojan, kan lebih asyik didengar.

Mahitala Unpar Arrived in Motherland

The team of Indonesian Seven Summits Expedition Parahyangan Catholic University from Bandung has come back in Indonesia on Friday (29^th/7), Jakarta. The team are Sofyan Arif Pesa (28), Xaverius Frans (24), Broery Andrew Sihombing (22), and Jonathan Ginting (22). Sofyan Arif Pesa said, “For the time being, we don’t plan to climb. We would like to take break before make a fresh start our ekpedition again”. The seven summits expedition was done by them before in December 2011.  

The first object of expedition is Carstenz Pyramid’s summit in Papua, Indonesia. The Carstenz pyramid’s summit has 4.884 meter and had climbed successfully by them on February 23^rd-26^th 2010. It’s not only the one, Sudirman’s mountain range amount to eight had climbed by them. The team also had catched unclimbed summit. 

And than, the team goes to Kilimanjaro,Tanzania, Afrika. The highest summit of Afrika has 5.895 meter had climbed successfully again by them on August 10^th 2010. After that, the team goes to Elbrus’s Summit in Rusia. East summit of Elbrus has 5.642 meter. The east summit of Elbrus had climbed by the team on August 24^th 2010.

An Unforgettable Memory

I do agree with the tagline “Life is An Adventure”. Because for me, a life has stories. And I also have story when I lived in Solo. I lived in Solo more about 4 years to study. I had got more experiences there. The boarding house is the one. I had learned a lesson about togetherness. Sometime, there were problems among us. But, it didn’t make been complicate one another. And even for us, it was adultery process.  

I still remember that’s moment, when we are 12 people in the boarding house. And we were from different areas. Automatically, we were getting much knowledge about other cultures. I am the youngest rather than the others. Playing football is our activity. We do the football every 4 p.m. If the one of us didn’t play football without a reason, he would get punishment to scout jump. I used get it. Hehe..

Penyiar Radio

SFX: Suara jingle radio terdengar sayup-sayup

Penyiar            : “Hai-...hai...hai ketemu lagi dengan aku, Restu. Penyiar yang paling gokil di radio Be Your Self. Aku bakalan nemenin kalian sampe maghrib. Gmn puasa hari ini, sob? Lancar, kan? Udah gak kerasa puasa hampir seminggu. 2 jam lagi, puasa hari ini selesai. Jadi sabar ya..hehe.. sambil menunggu adzan maghrib, yuk telpon ke sini. Ceritain kegiatan kalian hari ini atau mungkin mau request.

SFX                : Suara telpon berdering

Penyiar            : “Hallo... dengan siapa ini?”

Penelpon         : “Hallo... Lutfi di sini”.
